The Fijian Elections Office (FEO) is pleased to announce that the Supervisor of Elections, Ms Ana Mataiciwa, has appointed Ms Anaseini Senimoli as the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections effective today Friday, 14 November 2025.

Ms Senimoli currently holds the substantive position of Director of Operations, a role which she has served with distinction for the past ten (10) years, overseeing critical electoral operations during both the 2018 and 2022 General Elections. Her appointment reflects the FEO’s continued commitment to strengthening leadership capacity and ensuring operational excellence ahead of upcoming electoral events.

 In announcing the appointment, Ms Mataiciwa stated that Ms Senimoli has demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and dedication throughout her tenure with the FEO.

 “Ms Senimoli’s extensive operational experience and deep understanding of Fiji’s electoral processes make her well-suited to take on this important role. I have full confidence in her ability to support the FEO’s strategic direction and ongoing preparations for future elections,” said Ms Mataiciwa.

 Ms Mataiciwa emphasized that appointing the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections is essential as preparations for the upcoming elections continue.

 “The appointment of the Acting Deputy Supervisor of Elections is a vital step as we prepare for the upcoming elections. This role will ensure continuity of leadership within the FEO, strengthen our operational capacity, and support our team in delivering a transparent, efficient, and credible electoral process. We are confident that with this appointment, the FEO will continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in serving the people of Fiji,” Ms Mataiciwa elaborated.

 Ms Senimoli, who has served under five Acting Deputy Supervisors of Elections, hails from the village of Drue, in the district of Sanima, Kadavu, with maternal links to the village of Votua, district of Lekutu, in the province of Bua. Her long service, technical expertise, and commitment to strengthening democratic processes continue to serve as an inspiration to her colleagues and the wider electoral community.

 The FEO congratulates Ms Senimoli on her appointment and looks forward to her continued leadership as the organisation works to enhance electoral service delivery, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and prepare the nation for upcoming elections.
